Privacy Policy
How we handle personal information collected through this website, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
1. Who we are
Jason Masters Governance is a business of Masters Le Mesurier (International) Pty Ltd (ABN 35 116 254 794) as Trustee for the Masters Family Trust (ABN 58 436 692 658) (“we”, “us”, “our”). This Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information collected through this website, consistent with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
2. What we collect
We collect personal information only when you actively provide it:
- Enquiry form submissions: your name, email address, organisation, phone number(s), postal address, and the details of the enquiry you send, submitted via our HubSpot form.
- Appointment bookings: if you book a meeting, the name, email address and scheduling details you provide through our third-party booking provider, CalendarBridge.
We do not use page-level visitor tracking. Site analytics are provided by Plausible, which is cookie-free and does not collect personal information or build profiles of visitors.
3. How we use your information
We use personal information for the purpose for which it was collected:
- To respond to enquiries and arrange a conversation.
- To schedule and manage appointments you request.
- To provide the services you engage us for, and to maintain our records.
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.
4. Storage and security
- Enquiry form submissions are stored in HubSpot (HubSpot, Inc.). The instance hosting your data is HubSpot’s Australian data centre. Because HubSpot is a US-headquartered company, data held in the Australian instance may still be subject to the US CLOUD Act — a 2018 law that can compel American technology companies to produce data they hold, regardless of where that data is stored.
- Appointment details are processed by CalendarBridge, our scheduling provider, which connects to our calendar to arrange meetings.
- We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
5. Disclosure overseas
Personal information held by the third-party providers above may be stored or accessed outside Australia:
- HubSpot stores your form submissions in its Australian data centre, but as a US-headquartered company may be compelled under the US CLOUD Act to disclose data to US authorities even when it sits in the Australian instance.
- CalendarBridge may process your booking details on infrastructure outside Australia.
By submitting personal information through this site you consent to these arrangements.
6. Cookies
Our analytics provider, Plausible, does not set cookies. Our HubSpot enquiry form may set cookies that are necessary to operate the form and to help prevent spam.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal and operational obligations.
- Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) if you believe we have mishandled your personal information.
To exercise these rights, contact us via the Contact page.
8. Third-party services
This site relies on third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:
- HubSpot — enquiry form. Hosted in HubSpot’s Australian data centre (see §5 for the CLOUD Act caveat).
- CalendarBridge — appointment scheduling.
- Plausible Analytics — privacy-respecting site analytics. Cookie-free; does not collect personal information.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version number and “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflect the most recent change.
